Loop will require troubleshooting at times. It is not a foolproof system and does require attention and love! Try not to get frustrated when problems arise. Rather, know that you are using a non-FDA approved system, which requires you to be extra diligent to be safe. Of most concern is the improvised connections between devices; a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. For example, if the signal drops out for ANY reason, Loop will continue to deliver the last temporary basal for the next 30 minutes which may lead to inappropriate insulin delivery as your situation changes.
Finally, be aware that Loop isn't always the problem...you do need to maintain your other systems.

If you still need help, give all the details possible for the issue when you do post. ie: screenshots and details of what you have already tried. It helps get to the root of the problem much faster if you give everything which is needed to help right off the bat.
Examples of common issues, tips and some FAQs
Losing connection (Green Closed Loop turns Red)
Turn off Bluetooth on your phone → Close Dexcom app on your phone → Close Loop app on your phone → Switch off RileyLink using a small pointy object such as a paperclip → Switch RL back on → Turn Bluetooth back on → Open Dexcom app → Open Loop app → Wait for Green Closed Circle to appear (may take a minute to show).
Do not let your phone battery go dead on iOS 13
There is a really good possibility that you will lose your Loop settings and/or Dexcom app settings (including transmitter ID) if you let the battery run all the way down. If you do run into this, force quit the apps and restart. It may get the settings back, but not 100% guaranteed. Give it a couple tries. Best thing to do though is prevent this situation by not letting battery die.
What type of battery is best to use in a MDT pump?
Any Lithium battery will last considerably longer than an Alkaline battery
If you have an active Override running, be aware that you can NOT use the pre-meal target feature. You will need to cancel the Override in order to activate a pre-meal target.
If you are having cgm error messages, make sure you've deleted (forgotten) old Dexcom transmitters from your Bluetooth list in iPhone settings. Your current transmitter can be identified by looking in your Dexcom app's settings and looking at the last two digits of your transmitter. Those last two digits will match your current transmitter in the Bluetooth list.
