Fats
There are three types of fats found in food:
- Saturated Fat – solid at room temperature
- Trans Fat – made from liquid oil through a chemical process into a solid fat
- Unsaturated Fat – mostly from plant based foods and is liquid at room temperature.
Goal = limit Saturated and Trans Fat as much as possible
